With Bright skies being the Dulux colour of the year for 2022, I thought I would put together some schemes to show how you can use this throughout your home. The pale blue colour is a fresh tone that creates an open feel, paired with the contrast of the black, it create a light and airy feel modern feel to your home.
Bedroom
Blue has always been associated as a cold colour, so to bring some warmth to the scheme, I have paired it with the cream/gold tones from the carpet and brass accents. Incorporating the black accents with this simple headboard design from Tikamoon and this classic chair from Nkuku * creates eye-catching features in the room.

Lounge
For the lounge, I have brought in accents of tan leather, as well as a warm oak flooring in a herringbone pattern. These gorgeous chairs from Nkuku * bring a mid-century modern feel to the room, steering away from the typical sofa suite, to add interest and variety with the seating. I have also added more natural materials such as this wool rug from Etsy * to bring a cosy feel to the room.

Dining Room
Going bold with the dark grey panelling in the dining room can create a striking backdrop for the blue accessories, whilst adding linen to soften and add texture. The brass accents help add opulence, as well as warmth, keeping your home in style for years to come.
