A complete guide to the Grand millennial trend 2022

Grand millennial interior design is all about having an appreciation for the past, taking inspiration from well-edited designs whilst updating them by adding a fresh twist to them. It’s about patterns, frills and embroidered linens, with layers of colour and block and floral prints. The term coined by House beautiful in 2019, the trend has been growing for the last few years, with even the likes of Google including chintz fabrics and fully wallpaper rooms in their new London office.

Below are some of my favourite pieces from sustainably sourced brands, showing how you can create this look for yourself. This design look also lends itself to one of my favourite design tips, buying vintage second-hand furniture and accessories. SO go to your local antique or charity shops or even take a look on Facebook marketplace to pick up some great pieces.
